Well, pre-trial was today. We have had temporary custody of Braydon since Thursday of last week. Mommy and Daddy has visitation this weekend and Tuesday. I was informed by my lawyer that more than likely he will be returned home to mommy and daddy's on the 7th. I never wanted to try and take Braydon away, I just don't want Braydon to grow up in the same situation as I did nor the same situation I put Justin through (Braydons dad) for the first eight years of his life.

I love all three of them. My son, my daughter-in-law and Braydon but I could not sit back any longer and let this continue.

I am hoping that they see I mean business and that Braydon deserves to live a better life. I know his Mommy loves him, I do, I am not telling her and Justin how to raise her child, just how NOT to.

Yes, I did some things wrong and I apologized but I am there for Braydon and I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR HIM!

Mawmaw loves you with all her heart, Braydon!

Oh, what a situation you've been in. {{hugs}}

I am not a religious person in any way... but I will say a little prayer for you and your family.

When I was 15 my (then 19 year old) sister had her first son, then when I was 19 she had her second son... - when the boys were 5 and 1 she left them with my parents and took off..(my mom and dad have had custody of them since then)....she has been in their lives off and on through the last 10 years and has gotten alot better as a person and mom - married a great guy - who loves both her sons like they are his own. The boys are now 15 (almost 16) and 11 - the 11 year old moved back in with my sister in December the 15 year still lives with my mom and dad.

It's a hard road no matter what the situation is when dealing with kids! So I will keep you in my thoughts and will say a little prayer if you need to vent - send me a message - I am always a willing ear :)

I've been praying for you Sam. We had the same situation sort of with our adopted daughter. The parents were still using drugs and everything and the court kept trying to give her back. If you need to talk, rant etc. I'm here.

Continuing with prayers for all of you. We are awaiting a judge's decision in the future of our 9 yr old great grandson. He SO much wants to live with his father (our gs). The next meeting with the judge will be on July 9. I don't know the reason for him asking to come to live with his dad, but I'm sure there is one. He's a good kid and reflects the love and care of both his parents, even tho they are apart and have been nearly all his life. But the mother moved 2 states away and he wants to stay here. He's been there with her since Christmas, is now summer-ing with his dad, and won't even talk to his mother when she calls. You see, we all live with heartbreak every day. Prayers are being said for you and yours.
