I've had some folks ask me for this recipe, although I didn't (until now) have it written down! It's a delicious chicken salad - light and flavorful. Enjoy! Becky
Camellia Cottage Chicken Salad
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts 1 can chicken broth 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
Place chicken, broth and seasonings into a pot and bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to simmer. Cook until chicken is done, drain and cool. I cook the chicken in brot... Continue Reading...

Hi There! You know, I just love the internet! Some say I have an affinity or innate understanding of how to accomplish things online. I don't know about that, but I do know that it has been a wonderful outlet for me - both creatively and personally in the form of new friends.
So, that being said, I have a new creative outlet in the form of a new blog. It's titled Camellia Cottage Designs, and you can find it here >>> http://camelliacottagedesigns.blogspot.com/
I hope you will visit me there... Continue Reading...

I have been a crafter as long as I can remember. When I was a small child, we didn't have much, and although I had toys, one of my favorite things to do was use cardboard and an old Sears catalog and make paper dolls and furniture. But my dilemma is this . . . tiny things! I can't seem to throw away tiny bits of ribbon or paper, and find it so hard to stop what I'm doing and... Continue Reading...

I hope everyone had a very nice Memorial Day weekend! We had great weather here in North Georgia, with temps in the low to mid 80's and sunshine abounding. We had friends over for dinner on the deck Saturday night, then on Sunday we began our long-planned project - landscaping the side yard - formerly a mess, now our Prayer Garden!
Here's how it looked BEFORE we started >>>
Leaves from a couple of years, large flat rocks that hubby just put down, in no particular order, my poor hydrangeas who ... Continue Reading...

Just thought I'd share a few more pics from my garden with you. Things are really coming along now. First is a perennial salvia called 'May Night'. It's such a lovely color!
Next is one of my favorite roses. It's a floribunda called 'Honey Perfume'.
Next is a David Austin climber called 'Graham Thomas'. It's a very frilly yellow rose that also smells soooooo great! Very sweet and soft scent.
Next is a pic of my arbor, covered with another David Austin climbing rose, and because I can never... Continue Reading...
