I'm scheduled for surgery February 21st.  Yesterday I had my pre-op blood tests done.  Next week cardiogram and medical clearance.  

I am having abdominal hernia repair for the second time.  This will be surgery #17 for me!!!!  I've seen the Operating Room more times then I care to recall.  But, life goes on.  However, this time, since I'm gonna be in the Operating Room for the hernia repair, I've elected to also get a tummy tuck at the same time!!!!  Might as well.... A tummy tuck is not something I would have thought about had it not been for the fact that I need the hernia repair.  After a lifetime of yo-yo dieting, and recently losing about 130 lbs, my tummy truly needs to be tucked!!!!! 

I'm anxious....I can't imagine what it will be like to not have a big ole belly!  To have clothes fit properly!  Maybe with the help of the tummy tuck, I will eventually reach my 'goal' weight.  But if I don't, I would be so thankful to just remain at this weight and embrace a healthy life and lifestyle.  But, I'm also nervous about the pain and the recovery from surgery.  I know, with the support of my sweet dh, my sons, my family and friends I will be fine.  And, of course, my Father, He will be with me, as he has been each day of my life.
