I have had such good intentions to spend time in my scrapbooking room, all summer. But instead the area has been neglected, and has become a mess. I kept bringing stuff in and dropping it. But today! So. I turned 40 on Thursday. My family and friends are wonderful and I had a fun, silly, great day! I have created my list of to do that can be added to if I want, things like - skydive, and host a formal party, just because. Life is about to get fun!!!!

I feel silly, but, I turn 40 this coming week. And, as I get closer to the day, I feel myself getting more and more depressed. I have nothing to be "depressed" about, except the number 40 is haunting me. Like something will be forever changed on Wednesday and I cannot change it. ugh.

My husband is wonderful!!!!! I was surprised Friday night with tickets to fly to Omaha for both my husband and I to spend the weekend with my family. It has been wonderful. I havent been back to Omaha since October....and that was for my parents anniversay party -just a quick 48 hour trip. This has been a full weekend of hanging out, fourth of july party. Just really spending quality time with my family. Love it!!!! We come home tomorrow. Just a perfect weekend. (and I still havent smoked!)

We just got back from the family reunion/camping trip. I had not camped since high school, and didnt have many good memories of the experience, so was a bit nervous about this trip. But, I loved spending time with the family and going for bike rides. It was fun. I still dont like the sleeping in a tent, going to the public shower areas and cleaning up with all the bugs...ugh.
