My dear sweet doggie, Chloe, passed away a week ago today.  She was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) the week after we adopted a new boxer, Lady, from her previous owner who had taken a new job and wanted to find her a home where she'd have out out of crate time and family time and boxer fun....Given Chloe's diagnosis of an agressive cancer and her age, 9.5, we didn't have much hope after that for her to last much longer.  Thankfully, she died peacefully at home and we didn't have to face a difficult decision about putting her down.  I can't believe it happened so fast and it's been a week already that she's been gone.  So, with getting the new dog - 18 months old and still very much a puppy - having her spayed - Chloe's illness - my job ups and downs - going to Boston this weekend for a wedding - I've been scrapping but not chatting, emailing, blogging, posting lo's, etc.  I've been checking out everyone's layouts if they're set to come to me via email and I've been thinking about my special scrapping friends a lot and missing everyone.  I want to get back in the groove and hope you haven't forgotten about me. 

The kids are having a great summer and have taken Chloe's passing in stride given her quick deterioration in health, etc.  They were little imps the whole time in Boston so I'm in no hurry to take them on another trip like that, LOL.
