So nice to be home - it took several days to recuperate from the trip. I don't think I could take a steady diet of travel especially if it involved being on my feet so much. I was wiped out between the time difference and standing for 8 hours training plus the lugging my stuff back and forth. It was a great trip - don't mean to whine...I wouldn't have experienced the W hotel if not for the work trip. Best part was sitting in the lounge aka "the living room" on Tuesday night, drinking wine, eating gourmet pizza, and reading the latest J.D. Robb novel. Today was a great Mother's Day. After beakfast I went to Mass then came home and puttered around for a bit. We had an early dinner reservation at a very good seafood/sushi restaurant just up the street. The place is called Hooked and it's in an out of the way place and doesn't look like much from the outside - in a little strip shopping center in fact in between the Tae Kwon Do studio and a Dunkin' Donuts! Sounds really classy, huh? But the chef is from a big restaurant in DC and it's just fabulous - I had a little sushi then sesame encrusted rock fish then tropical tapioca (tapioca with carmelized pineapple on top) - yummy! Now I"m wiped out again. I could be so lazy so easily, LOL.
On another front have been getting ready for a major yard sale next weekend - our whole development - so I want to get maximum stuff out there. Afterward whatever doesn't sell is going straight to Goodwill!!
I did forget about soccer and ballet class so will have to hope Jeff can cover for me one way or the other. Maybe Kate can go to soccer with Kelly and Jeff can take her to ballet...we'll see.
