Little (Pink) Corvette

I had the best time yesterday afternoon shopping for my dd's birthday gifts. She's turning 4 and is into such a variety of different things that it's so much fun to shop for things she'll like. I wandered around Toys R Us picking up this n' that for about 30 minutes when I spotted a pink Barbie remote control Corvette....perfect - she will go out of her mind when she sees it and figures out that she can make it move by pushing a button vs. pushing the car! YAY! Of course I immediately thought of the cute pictures I'll be taking and getting the right wrapping paper so the pics will be somewhat color coordinated, LOL. The only thing that would make this better is if I had been able to score the Barbie Sun Jammer 4x4 for $50 that was advertised in our community newsletter but I called to late and someone else snapped it up. Oh well - I'll check out Craig's List maybe but not for the birthday. The party is all set for Saturday at a local farm and it's going to be a Barnyard Bash complete with feeding the animals, hayride, and kid corral play area with kids stuff to jump around on. And her other gifts are a pink/purple baseball glove so she can practice with DS who is just starting tball, a cheerleader outfit and pompoms, and a Ken doll so her Barbie's have dates to ride around with in the Corvette...she has a GI Joe and she loves having boys to go with the girls....she's such a little cupcake!
