Super Sunday   (1 comment, 5 views) Sunday, 13 April 2008

The day is off to a slow start.  I came downstairs with the kids, checked my various Scrabulous games and had coffee then went back to bed for a couple of hours.  Not very energetic.  Oh yeah, I put seed in the bird feeder because everytime a bird lands in the tree out there I think it's disappointed because the feeder is empty.  The squirrel checked out the filled feeder and it seems like he's too fat to maneuver onto the feeder platform the way he used to.  Progress there - so maybe it was worth letting him eat a bunch of seed - now he'll leave it mostly alone.  Just figured out what to make for dinner and since I have all the ingredients at home I ordered groceries for delivery tomorrow vs. going out to the market now.  Laundry is "caught up"  YAY!  Before I settle in to the Scrap Lair I'd like to get outside and feed the roses with the new stuff I just bought that supposedly protects against insects and black spot as well.  And then, there are a few bills to pay online and I can go hang out and get creative finally.

Master Jae LOVED his mini tae kwon do album.  I've been to two kickboxing classes and think I've recruited two more people to go with me...the more the merrier.  It will keep me going and maybe to more than 1 class/week if Elise and Vazu are going as well.  My stamina is so nonexistent and surprisingly I'm not too bummed about it because I'm signed up for the class, I enjoy the class, and maybe I'll get to the gym this week.  All this may seem unrelated to scrapping but more stamina and energy means more me time left over to scrap after I've taken care of the home and the youngun's.  Hope everyone has a very happy and restful Sunday afternoon!

I made it outside to feed/treat the rose bushes and discovered that the tulip display on the side of the house promises to be outstanding.  I'm headed out in a moment with my camera to take a pic of one of the beautiful budding pink ones...I love tulips and I'm POSITIVELY wild about pink tulips. I swept up the patio a little bit, pruned the butterfly bush, rescued the poor plant that got blown over and swept up the broken pot - repotted homeless plant, paid those bills online, groceries ordered, I'm going to bite the bullet and start dinner then head down to ScrapLair - if I go down there first I won't want to interrupt myself to come up to do the dinner :P

Tomorrow will have to be a Starbucks day because I'm out of coffee at home, LOL!

Sounds like a plan, Cynde!
I bought my squirrel a corn thingy!
Then I had a mess of huge Black Birds eating it!
Well I guess they have to eat too!
I put out Nigel seed for the yellow finches!
I'm hoping to get some great pictures!
I'm not sure when they will come around again!
Have a GREAT Sunday!
Hugs, Cheryl
