It is with great sadness that I let you know of the passing of our dear Friend and Neighbor, Jill Schauat (pronounced "Shout") aka MaryJill. She passed away on October 8th in her home and in the comfort of her family.
Jill shared her card making and scrapbooking skills with everyone at Scrapbook.com and was a leader in our community with her positive nature, kindness, words of encouragement and love of life. She will be missed by so many of us.
Jill and I were pleased to share the same first name and joked often about how she wanted to be known as "Jill" on the site but I beat her to the name first. Though we never had the pleasure of meeting in person we were great cyber and snail mail buddies.
What a blessing it is for all of us to have her work on the site to learn from and for her family to have the scrapbooks she created for them.
