Frame Idea #11

This frame created the perfect message center for the comings and goings of visitors to a grandmother's home or a cabin in the woods. This frame started with a great-grandmother's needle work, old keys and 7 gypsies patterned paper. I did a blue paint glaze over the patterned paper which tuned it blue but let the images of the old measuring tapes still remain visible. The stitchery was cut down to fit the photo space and the keys were adhered to mini magnets. A mini pad of paper and a pencil next to this frame are a welcome invitation for friends and family to leave notes, thank you's and other greetings.
