Life sometimes provides little treasures that make living more fun and interesting. I found such a treasure a few weeks ago and can now share it with you.
In January, Kels and I were discussing Megan, our Forum Tech and how we appreciate her. Kels and I have a brain connection that is absolutely reactive when we get together. We can create like none other but all of our ideas, if acted upon, would probably cause our untimely demise. On this particular day I was motivated by our discussion to set out on a journey. A journey to find a personalized mop and bucket for Megan - a token of our appreciation.
Years ago, Megan chose the mop and bucket trademark as a symbol of the tasks she performs on the site for all of us. She can get in and clean up a mess like none other. Our community of "nice" people and "clean posts" can be attributed to the expertise of her mop slinging. Her trademark is so famous she's had Neighbors find her special Smilies to use in posts in our Forums. Megan is special.
I don't have to explain to you how excited I was to find a mini mop and bucket in the clearance section at Bed Bath and Beyond while returning a Christmas gift. I know you understand when I say my heart skipped a beat and adrenaline hit my hands causing me to GRAB the combo. The surge in my feet caused an instant urge to RUN to the checkout counter. You know the feelings, I'm sure.
Altering the B-B-Q Accessory was a fun and easy project. I hand lettered "Scrapbook.com loves me!" on the mop handle and applied stickers to the bucket that say "Because Nice Matters". I painted and doodled around our house logo on the bucket and added bows.
You can barely see the Scrapbook.com logo medallion hanging from the handle tip under the bow. I made it by gluing a strand of ribbon between two mini house logo buttons (from the swag shop at Scrapbook.com).

Megan got her bucket filled with Jelly Belly’s and mop/wand yesterday but I need your help to finish the journey.
Please take a minute to tell Megan thanks for all she does by clicking here to visit her My Place.
Thanks everyone, thanks Megan!
Hugs,
Jill
