Gary from Purple Cows recently showed Jessica and I how the new Freestyle hand-held tool works.  The cutting unit has three built-in edges - Perfed (perforated), Wavy and Straight.  It comes with a Self-Healing mat, instructions, Elipse and Circle Templates and a Straight Edge Cutting Guide which the tool snaps into for controlled cuts.  The possibilites for small and large circles and ovals on your layouts are endless and you can also cut absract shapes and straight or long wavy strips for layered backgrounds.  If you have posterboard size projects that could use some creative cutting use a Freestyle.  Be sure to click on the link below to visit the Purple Cows My Place and see a project using the Freestyle and to get more information.
