I am going to share five scrap secrets and five cool things. If you read this and feel like it, please make your own list and then post back at my blog so I can see yours :) I WOULD LOVE to see your scrap secrets and cool things!!! You can post on it on your personal blog outside sb.com or here at sb.com!
Five scrap secrets (Previously TOP SECRET, lol): 1. I use the Print Shop to not only print my photos but also do all of my journaling. Why? Because you can see and 8.5" by 11" page at 100% therefore knowing exactly how you printed page will look. To get super creative you can hold a piece of paper up to the screen to plan how to use spaces and returns to get your EXACT journaling shape! Some of the best scrap money I have spent! 2. The Provocraft Coluzzle. I use this, I am not joking on 95% of my pages. I love it soooo much!! the circle cutter is my favorite! 3. Rather than keeping the full magazines, I tear out each page I want to keep and put it in a binder for future inspiration! 4. I use a really large serving plate for really really big circles, it works great ;) 5. PERHAPS MY BIGGEST SCRAP SECRET IS HOW TO MAKE A PERFECT WAVE. Supplies you need: paper, ruler, bowl (or something round) and pencil. If you want to make a wave 10" long, dissect the page into two equal sections. For this example, two 5" sections. Make marks on your page. Take you bowl and connect the first section with the curve up, draw your line. Then turn you bowl around and connect your second section with curve down. Cut out the curves and that is your full wave. You can experiment with different bowl or plate sizes to get your perfect wave!
Five cool things: 1. Because my son has Autism, I LOVE LOVE ( did I say love?) when companies donate to Autism Speaks! Check out this puzzle book by My Acrylic Album, it is so neat I totally want one!! Tinkering Ink also donates to Autism Speaks. I know there are other companies out there, just not sure which one? Maybe Technique Tuesdays? 2. I LOVE THESE ALBUMS SO MUCH!!! They are so easy to use, I want to replace all of my older albums now! 3. When I re-decorated my scraproom I bought these, Clip it up storage units. I have so say that these are the coolest things around. Really. worth every penny! 4. Paper by My minds Eye! I own so much of it, I love each sheet and use it often!! 5. I have to brag on the company I work with, I love their products so much, really i do. Their peek-a-boo albums make me so happy. Also the Al Fresco collection is soooooooooooo yummy!
Now it's your turn... don't forgot to post here when you do your lists!! I can't wait to see them!!!!
