As we come closer to our debut at the January CHA we wanted to start to introduce you to our team here at Tinkering Ink.  So let me introduce you to a very important person...ME!

My name is Emilie AheRn. (I have to capitalize the "R" in my last name because if I don't it reads like you're clearing your throat.  Ahem!)

Working for Tinkering Ink has been a dream come true for me. As the Communications Director I get to meet and interact with our fabulous customers first hand! Part of my job is writing this BLOG and interacting with other scrappers in various online scrapbooking communities.  I love meeting people since I believe every person has a story to tell and each story gives insight into navigating this life.  I truly believe scrappers are the best people on earth! I can't wait to BE inspired by each of you, learn from your experiences and make some great friends along the way!

I have been scrapping since 1997. I LOVE to scrap because I feel that it is not only an opportunity to express yourself and be creative, but is also a way to tell the true and genuine story of your life. I always include journaling in my layouts, even if it's hidden, because I feel that the story is what gives the photos LIFE! I am passionate about telling life stories and I will be coming out with a Journaler's Guide for Tinkering Ink in 2007.

Someone once told me, "You can talk a river!"  I think that means I am a talker, but like I said, getting to know people is one of my joys in life.  So don't be surprised if I check in on your blog, leave comments or email you something funny about a comment you left on this site.  So if you see "Tinkering Ink" posting or chatting on the internet say a quick "hello", because it's probably me!
