I'm not big on resolutions, but there are a few running goals and aspirations that I have for my life:
1. To manage my time better in order to get things done around the house and w/ Caeden and still have time for myself.
2. To make God more of a priority in my life and spend more time with Him everyday.
3. To continue placing my husband and son first on my list of priorities. We spend a ton of quality time together and I want to always keep it that way.
These are just a few, I'm sure there are more...For me, New Year's Day is usually just another day. This year, we were travelling all day back home from the in-laws in Illinois. But, it is a special-day reminder that every day can be a new beginning if you make a choice for it to be. Kind of a reminder that each day has endless possibilities and can be a brand new start. Even if I mess up my "goals" for a few days, each day is a new chance to get it right. That's what I try to remember every day, and not just on New Year's Day.
Either way, I hope 2008 will be as great as the past few years have been for me :)
Happy (late) New Year to everyone!
