Chalkboard Technique
Submitted by: Scrapbook.com
Article courtesy Scrapjazz; by Jane Swanson

This method involves stamping white pigment ink onto dark-colored cardstock and dusting with chalks to give the appearance of writing on a chalkboard with colored chalk.

1_127Supplies

  • Cardstock, preferably black for a true "chalkboard" appearance
  • White pigment ink
  • Chalk
  • Applicator, white cotton balls with alligator clip or Q-tips
  • Swiffer cloth (dry) or paper towel or Kleenex

Step One

Ink the chosen stamp with the white pigment ink. Don't wait for it to dry.
