Step-by-Step: Cheer

by Sheredian Vickers (Jul 28, 2007)

Scrapping several photos on a single page can be a real challenge. Here is one way to beat the frustration and have a clean page as shown in my layout, "Cheer."

Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Stamp flourish design in upper left and lower right corners of the background paper.

  2. Cut a 2" x 12" strip of patterned paper and then tear off about ½" across the top so that the white core shows. Adhere 3" from the top of the background paper.
  3. Cut a 1½" x 12" strip of the second patterned paper and adhere 3¼" below the first strip.

  4. Arrange photos so they overlap the top and bottom strips, as indicated in the layout.
  5. Punch out tags for title letters and ink the edges of the tags.
  6. Adhere a chipboard letter to each tag and then adhere the title in the upper right corner of the page.
  7. Tie assorted ribbons through chipboard embellishments and adhere.
  8. Journal on lined paper and adhere in the lower left corner of the page.
  9. Attach three brads on the journaling block.
  10. Ink the edges of the page.

Let your creativity shine and embellish the page as you like. Remember to post your layout on http://www.scrapjazz.com//.
