Step-by-Step: Cheer
by Sheredian Vickers (Jul 28, 2007)
Scrapping several photos on a single page can be a real challenge. Here is one way to beat the frustration and have a clean page as shown in my layout, "Cheer."
Materials:
Instructions:
- Stamp flourish design in upper left and lower right corners of the background paper.
- Cut a 2" x 12" strip of patterned paper and then tear off about ½" across the top so that the white core shows. Adhere 3" from the top of the background paper.
- Cut a 1½" x 12" strip of the second patterned paper and adhere 3¼" below the first strip.
- Arrange photos so they overlap the top and bottom strips, as indicated in the layout.
- Punch out tags for title letters and ink the edges of the tags.
- Adhere a chipboard letter to each tag and then adhere the title in the upper right corner of the page.
- Tie assorted ribbons through chipboard embellishments and adhere.
- Journal on lined paper and adhere in the lower left corner of the page.
- Attach three brads on the journaling block.
- Ink the edges of the page.
Let your creativity shine and embellish the page as you like. Remember to post your layout on http://www.scrapjazz.com//.
