There are so many different features available in "My Place" and it's hard to grasp it all. One of the most popular feautures is the free blog that comes with your My Place. We thought we'd explore some of the the cooler features associated with blogs at Scrapbook.com.
In My Place, you can click on the "Blog" link, and you'll see an option called "Blog Settings". From here, you can choose your personal blog settings and determine how you will view and read your "favorite" blogs. You can also choose some e-mail options.
Your first set of options will let you choose what you'll see when you click on the Favorite blogs link. Look for the heading: Show me recent entries on my "Favorite Blogs" page from the following. You'll see check boxes for the following options:
All Friends - this will show you the blogs of anyone on your Friends
list.
Best Friends - this will show you the blogs of the Friends that you've
selected as Best Friends.
My Favorite List - this will show you the blogs from your Favorites. To make a blogger your favorite, look in the upper right corner as you're reading their blog. You'll see a checkbox to add them to your Favorite List. Checking this box will add the blogger to your Favorites list.
Any recent blogs - this will show you the blogs of all Scrapbook.com neighbors in chronological order (most recent listed at the top).
Then, choose your e-mail options. Look under the heading: Send me Email Notifications of New Blog Entries from. Again, you can choose which blogs will get sent to your email address.
You can also choose to have an email sent to your inbox any time another user comments on one of your blog entries.
Under all these options, you'll see a list of your Favorites. These are the blogs that you've selected as Favorites...you can remove them from this screen.
We hope you enjoy connecting with your friends and favorites through the My Place feature at Scrapbook.com.
