I ink blended the beautiful dragonfly panel with three shades of green inks. I got a beautiful blend first time with these inks. I splattered some Perfect Pearls in water over the ink blended panel, which was cut with the beautiful Slimline Dragonflies Background Die from Whimsy. I kept the design simple, just adding back a few of the diecut dragonflies with some SBC soft blue glitter pen painted over their wings and body. I used a cardstock for the base which had a really pretty shimmer to it. So in the right light, this card has lots of gentle sparkle. As mentioned above, I coloured up a few of the dragonfly offcuts with a blue tinted glitter brush too and glued them back in place with their wings in flight. This also added a little more subtle sparkle. I finished the design by wrapping some May Arts Twine around several times and added a simple sympathy sentiment from Whimsy's Sympathy So Deeply Sorry Clear Stamps set, stamped in green Distress Oxide and clear heat embossed. I hand-cut the banner ends on the little tag and then attached the tag with a cute Tiny Clip from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Range.
